This past weekend was a GREAT weekend for the ACC!!! We had ACC Artists in 4 states. 

 

Andy Bohn was in his backyard at the Tucson Comic-Con in Arizona. Brice Gielgens, Kit Kendall, and Kip Mussatt was getting crazy at Stan Lee's Comikaze in LA. Jasmine Monterroso was getting the taste of Detroit at the Youmacon (anime con). Also, the ACC Artists were EVERYWHERE at the 7th annual Vegas Valley Comic Book Fest. We had Deryl Skelton, Stu-Art studios, Gloydverse, Free Isabelo, Ish! & Crabman at the Critical Care Comics table, Kira Dennis, Ramsey Hong, Nicole Ellison, and SIG (GERMZ) canvassing the whole event!!!

 

The ACC Artists are always busy so come back every Tuesday for updates and event info!!!

This weeks ACC Meet-up pn Friday at Comic Oasis was a blast! We had a few new faces and some of the old guard there to inspire and draw. To be honest, we get together to just have fun and talk about nerd stuff... AND WE DRAW!!! Everyone is welcome to stop by and hangout with the ACC Artists!

Nov. 20th 2013   

This has been a cool week for the ACC Artists!!! The Artist Alley registration for Wondercon 2014 opened this week and because the ACCLV didn't go to Comikaze 2013 they decided to use the money to get tables at Wondercon 2014!! So make sure you look for the ACC Artists at Wondercon 2014!!!

The Artists Comic Collective have been growing every week with new writers and artists bringing their ideas to the ACC meet-up at Comic Oasis on fridays. A few of the new creators like Brittany and Tim have upcoming projects with LFDF Comics. They join the LFDF Comics stable of creators that are working on new projects. Also, the ACC welcomes all young creators to see the professional process of how to create a full comic book.

HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!! I know it's a little late but we still mean it!

The ACC Artists love doing community support and next week we go GLOBAL! Jeremy Lassner and Free Isabelo (LFDF Comics) will be featured artists at a fundraiser for Human Rights Day by Falling Whistles. It's an organization to help human rights in 3rd world countries. Free & Jeremy will be donating time and artwork to the Falling Whistles Foundation.

Come down to The Artifice Bar (LV) on Dec 6th 2013 form 6pm-12am to support a great cause.

Also, this week some of the ACC Artists went to the Venetian Hotel for theDeviantArt get together. James Stone and Dan Blodgett had a great time with some of the industries most decorated artists. 

 

 

 

Dec. 9th 2013

 

This will be an exciting week for the ACC!!! Starting the week off on Tuesday at Artifice Bar (LV). Some of the artists and supporters will be tabling at an event to benefit the Human Rights awareness in 3rd world countries. Olivia Black and the Falling Whistles Foundation is fundraising to help the freedom movement in the Congo.

​Also, Christmas is coming up and I know the ACC Artists are all working like Santa's elves getting commissions done and shipped for the hoidays. From full color posters,  11x17 pin-ups, prints, and specialty items are still available so contact your favotite ACC Artists by going to their contact emails!!!

The ACC Artists are always on the move!!! This week the boys from Valkyrie Komics are having their Christmas party and the cake is made of MOUNTAIN DEW (the official drink of Valhalla)!!! The ACC congratulates the staff and artists at Valkyrie Komics for their success of the past couple of years. They are currently working on issue #6 of Dirge of Viqdis (their flagship comic book) and they have launched the Valkyrie Komics website featuring an original web comic written by Cillian Cubstead and illustrated by the ACC's very own ERIKA HARM!!! We will be updating you with the official release of their web comic "BUNNY HEAD"!!! 

 

Christmas is right around the corner so make sure you contact your favorite  ACC Artists for commissions and other great gift ideas!!!

MERRY CHRISTMAS from the ACC Artists!!!

   There's a lot of new things going on with the ACC Artists! Congratulations to Adam Krenn for becoming the new co-host of The Geek Lounge internet radio show! He is taking over the co-hosting duties from our good friend and fellow geek, Munch! We wish Munch a great future where he's going! 
    Kikiface (from tumblr fame) is now featured in a book with Dragonball artwork from famous artists! Her submission was selected to be a part of this wonderful project.

   James Stone and the rest of the crew at Immortal Samurai Comics are starting a new podcast called "Set in Stone". As they get interviews from artists, writers, and comic supporters, they are hard at work editing. Set in Stone podcast will premier soon!

Welcome to the new year!!! Sorry I missed a week or so but it's been a busy time for the ACC!

  Let's start off by congratulating Will Egli for signing a long term contract to ink a very high level company (can't say who it is yet).   In other news, Free Isabelo will be at the Stripside Comics & Sportscards at the AMAZING Arizona Comic Con. He will be joining some of the industries best artists and retailers in the world. Free will be doing panels and artist workshops with the Steampunk King...JOE BENITEZ!!! This honor comes from Free's series of pin-ups called the "STEAM QUEENS". Also featured at the Amazing Arizona Comic Con will be the creator of The Walking Dead...Robert Kirkman!!!

EXCITING WEEK FOR THE ACC ARTISTS!!! This past week the ACC Artists went to AMAZING Arizona Comic Con in Phoenix AZ. We had 5 artists in the Artist Alley and Free Isabelo was the featured artists a the Stripside booth. A lot of great stories with Marc Silvestri, Rob Liefeld, Livio Ramondelli, and a whole bunch of other creators!...when you see Free just ask about AACC and he'll talk your ear off!

This week the ACC Artists will be all over the Artist Alley at LVL UP EXPO in Las Vegas! LVL UP EXPO is a game and pop culture expo featur\ring game tournaments, video game artists, table games, and more. this is the 2nd time the producers have had this event in Las Vegas and it's becoming one of the "must go" events in LV.

It's Been AWHILE!!!

 

So, there's been so much going on that the ACC Artists just didn't have time to update any info. The ACC Aritsts are all doing conventions, Free Comic Book Day, private events, and other community events. This year The ACC Artists did 8 different comic shops in Las Vegas, 3 shops in Arizona, 4 shops in California, and THE shop in Utah. Some of the LV ACC Artists went to Jesse James Comic shop in AZ after doing the shops in LV. THat means we went from drawing 100+ drawings and 8 hrs at the LV comic shops, got in a car and drove 5 hours to JJ's Comic shop and did it all again!!! GREAT TIME!!!
